HISTORY

Atchik-Realtime is the dynamic product of the merger of two companies, Atchik and Realtime, who share a similar history. Each firm was founded in 1999 with a strategy of developing value-added services for mobile operators. Each company grew quickly in its respective market, developing complementary ranges of products and services.

Created in France, Atchik established a reputation as an expert in the mobile applications sector, providing its white-label mobile services to telecom operators. Atchik brings to the new group a range of services including chat forums, dating, games, infotainment, as well as photo and video applications, strengthened by state-of-the-art moderation and service management.

Realtime was founded in Denmark and became a recognised specialist in mobile services and portals. As a provider of value-added mobile services, Realtime offered mobile operators and media groups white-label chat and dating services, Java games, content services and turnkey portals available on WAP and SIM browsing.

In 2005, at a moment of global consolidation in the mobile services market, the two companies decided to profit from their respective successes, and through a merger pool their expertise and follow a joint growth strategy at an international level. This merger has given birth to a key player in the mobile messaging market: Atchik-Realtime.

Today Atchik-Realtime offers white-label and outsourcing services to mobile operators, media groups, and internet service providers, and is a recognized global leader in the area of mobile relations (social exchanges between persons or groups using text, images, sound, and video via the mobile phone), providing one of the most comprehensive range of solutions on the market. Its services are already accessible to more than 250 million subscribers in over 50 countries around the world.
